UV laser marking adds color to glass products

As a synthetic material, glass uses a quiet and pure taste to express virtual beauty, light and beauty, image beauty, time, space and fashion. The glass is beautiful, but not good enough. Therefore, every designer uses various tools to paint on glass and add color to glass products.

Commonly used methods of glass painting include the following:

Corrosion: The chemical that corrodes glass is hydrofluoric acid. Paraffin wax is first melted and covered with glass, the paraffin surface is engraved, then hydrofluoric acid is applied, and the paraffin is washed away. Because hydrofluoric acid is volatile and polluting, it requires a protective layer and is complicated to operate.

Thermal processing: Thermal processing is used to improve the appearance quality of processed materials, mainly including flame cutting, flame polishing, drilling, etc. However, glass is highly brittle and prone to cracking at high temperatures, causing damage to the material.

Screen printing: The principle of screen printing is to print ink on the surface of flat glass, and then use the curing method of the ink to make the pattern firm. However, the screen processing technology is complicated, the ink is harmful to the human body, and screen printing does not cause coloring, color difference, and poor coloring.

UV laser marking: Laser marking is an optical and motor integrated equipment controlled by a software system. It uses software control to control the pattern and uses non-contact processing to prevent the glass from being damaged by external forces. Moreover, UV laser marking is cold processing, with high beam quality and small spots, which can achieve ultra-fine marking of glass.
